Gymnasiums are mainly indoor sports buildings such as basketball and volleyball. The lighting method mainly uses direct lighting lighting, which can give full play  the effectiveness of the sports lighting system and is highly efficient and energy-saving. It is currently the mainstream lighting method in the world. The following types are common:

  p layout

The p arrangement is the arrangement of lamps and lanterns above the site, and the beam is perpendicular  the plane of the site. For the p arrangement, luminaires with symmetrical light distribution should be used, which is suitable for gymnasiums that mainly use low space, require high ground level illumination uniformity, and have no requirements for TV broadcasting. General training halls and gymnasiums for national fitness can use the p lighting method.

  Arranged on both sides

Arrangement on both sides means that the lamps are arranged on both sides of the site, and the beam is not perpendicular  the plane of the site. Asymmetrical light distribution lamps should be used for the layout on both sides  be arranged on the horse track, which is suitable for gymnasiums with high vertical illuminance requirements and TV relay requirements. When arranged on both sides, the aiming angle of the lamp (the angle between the aiming direction of the lamp and the vertical) should not be greater than 65°. This lighting method is widely used in large and medium-sized gymnasiums with TV broadcasts. Similarly, sports lighting systems are required  cover the entire venue.

  Mixed layout

Mixed layout, that is, a combination of p layout and two sides layout. The mixed layout should choose lamps with multiple light distribution forms, which have the characteristics of p layout and two sides layout, and are suitable for large-scale comprehensive gymnasiums.
