In recent years, the LED industry has developed rapidly, and various excellent products have brought the light of science and technology to all parts of the world. However, the existing industry standards "General Specification for LED Displays" SJ/T11141-2012, local standards "LED Displays" DB35/T1304-2012 and other standards on the market all require non-high-definition LED displays with a dot pitch of P4 or more. The technical parameters such as splicing accuracy, viewing angle, brightness uniformity, wavelength error, pixel out-of-control rate, refresh frequency and other technical parameters are no longer suitable for high-definition, high-density, and seamless dot pitches below P2.5 and P2.5. The requirement of splicing high-resolution splicing large LED display screens has become an urgent matter to revise the industry standard of LED display screens.

Recently, Fujian Product Quality Inspection Research Institute and Xiamen Optoelectronics Industry Association drafted and revised the local standard "Technical Specifications for LED Displays" in Fujian Province. Wang Guorong, Director of Standardization Department of Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau, and Zheng Yuzhong, Investigator of Electronic Information Division of Economic and Information Commission Zhang Chenglin from the Standards Office of the Municipal Bureau of Quality Supervision attended this standard review meeting. At the meeting, the participating experts unanimously passed the review of the standard.

The Standardization Division of Fujian Provincial Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, Fujian Product Quality Inspection and Research Institute, and Xiamen Optoelectronics Industry Association initiated a seminar on the revision of the "LED Display Technical Specifications" standard, bringing together industry experts and industry, academia, and research experts in the optoelectronic industry in the province. After dozens of inspections and investigations, the standard draft was finally completed for more than a year. The revised general specification will be more adapted to the technical characteristics of the current LED display, and will also be conducive to the upgrading of LED display products, industrial upgrading, and guide the orderly competition of enterprises in the industry.
