However, every athlete who raises his head and smashes his arms on the court is disturbed by the glare of the dazzling lights. It is a pic worthy of criticism for every one of us lighting people.

　　In the following case, I am looking for a typical small badminn training hall. The venue is arranged according  the size specified by the national standard. In fact, very few badminn training halls will be based on the size of the national standard because it costs more space and is in actual operation. The operar will shrink the barrier-free area (that is, the tal venue TA), and the main venue PA can't wait  see each other.

　　Lighting recommendations:

　　1. Light source and lamps

　　Here I use an LED linear light with a tal light flux of 10802 lm, a CRI 90, and a power of 140 W. Of course, you can also use lamp panels with T5/T8 light sources and high bay lamps with metal halide light sources.

　　2. Installation height

　　Linear light, suspended 1 m, the distance between the light and the ground is 7 m.

　　3. Lamp installation position and direction

　　Install parallel  the long side of the site. The lamps must be installed 1 meter away from the sideline of the venue, and must not be installed in the sky above the venue! Otherwise, you will blind your eyes if you raise your head while playing.

　　4. Control

　　The control of this training hall I designed is a single-chip field control, that is, when only one field is needed, only the lamps on both sides of the field can be turned on.

　　Analysis process:

　　1. Light source and lamps

　　Although LED linear lights are used here, traditional T5/T8 lamp panels or brackets can also be used, and high bay lights with metal halide light sources can also be used. Why?

　　Mainly because of the installation location of the lamps.

　　The lighting method of badminn is generally  arrange the lamps on both sides of the field, not directly above the field, so as  prevent the direct glare of the lamps from interfering with the athletes. The lamps are arranged on both sides, the glare is greatly reduced, and the requirements for the lamps are not so harsh.

　　However, if you install a floodlight, it is still recommended  use a metal halide floodlight with a shading plate. LED floodlights are not recommended. See the previous article on outdoor basketball court lighting for the reasons.

　　2. Control

　　Considering the use of a single site, it is necessary  control the lamps in groups. In this case, the lamps are divided in 6 groups.

　　The lamps on each side of each site are divided in separate groups, each site turns on two sets of lamps, and four sites turn on six sets of lamps.

　　The above is the entertainment lighting of a four-seat badminn hall. In fact, the method is the most important. Children's shoes can be set according  the above routine. It doesn't matter if the venue is different, it can be set out if the method is right.
