Different cooling methods of LED

The common LED bulb heat dissipation on the market is generally divided into two types: passive heat dissipation and active heat dissipation. Passive heat dissipation uses a copper wire braided belt for natural air cooling, while an active heat dissipation fan forces air convection on the heat sink. "Copper wire braided belt natural air cooling" heat dissipation system is simple and reliable, and there is no possibility of damage at all. The heat is naturally radiated into the air through the huge surface area of the copper wire braid to complete the heat dissipation.

This type of heat dissipation is essentially the same as a "heat sink". Old classmates who have played computer DIY should know very well that it is nothing more than wrapping a dense heat sink outside the heating object to increase the surface area. This heat dissipation method has limited effect and cannot withstand high-power use. Therefore, LED bulbs that use this method of dispersing wind are all low-power products.

And the fan active forced cooling system, the principle is exactly the same as the "fan" of the computer CPU! First use the heat sink to remove the heat from the heat source to increase the heat dissipation area, and then use a "violent fan" (the speed is usually several thousand revolutions or more) to forcibly fill the heat sink with cold air to "cool down" the heat sink. This heat dissipation method has high power and can be adapted to higher power LED lamp beads.

However, there is also a certain routine in this heat dissipation~
