In fact, it refers to the high color rendering, high luminous efficiency, high reliability and low cost in LED display technology. How to achieve low cost and make the quality of LED display screens reach the "three highs"? This requires a series of measures to be taken in all links of the LED display industry chain. Such as the use of new technologies, new structures, new processes, new materials, etc.
The following mainly analyzes from the "three highs and one low", that is, high color rendering, high luminous efficiency, high reliability and low cost:
High color rendering: LED display has a lot of light and color quality, including color temperature, color rendering, light color fidelity, light color naturalness, hue recognition, visual comfort, etc. Here we currently only discuss solving the problem of color temperature and color rendering. The production of high color rendering full-color display light source will lose more light efficiency, so these two factors should be taken into consideration when designing. Of course, to improve the high color rendering property, the combination of RGB three primary colors must be considered. Here I also have high luminous efficiency: The luminous efficiency of LED electronic displays can be said to be an important indicator of energy-saving effects. At present, my country’s luminous efficiency needs to be strengthened. To truly achieve high luminous efficiency, it must be solved from all aspects of the industrial chain. Related technical issues, then how to achieve high luminous efficiency?
1. Improve internal quantum efficiency and external quantum efficiency;
2. Improve the light-emitting efficiency of the package and reduce the junction temperature;
3. Improve the light extraction efficiency of lamps;
High reliability: It mainly includes indicators such as failure rate and life. But there are different understandings and explanations in the application. High reliability refers to the ability of a product to complete a specified function under specified conditions and within a specified time. LED failure categories mainly include serious failure and parameter failure. The lifetime is a characteristic value of product reliability. If LED display manufacturers want to get good control on the overall quality of the display, they need to do the following two points:
1. Extend the time of consumption loss.
2. Reduce failure rate.
Low product cost: In addition to mass production, to reduce costs, methods and approaches are mainly taken to reduce costs by adopting technical measures. It is mainly to reduce costs in terms of epitaxial chips, packaging, driving, heat dissipation, etc., so as to fundamentally solve the cost problem of LED display products. Specifically speaking from the following four aspects:
1. The method of reducing the cost of the epitaxial chip link.
2. The method to reduce the cost of the packaging process.
