Production process of LED encapsulant for light-emitting diode

       What is the production process of luminous in-line LED lamp bead sealing glue? There are mainly three types of LED packaging: glue, potting, and molding. Fundamentally, the difficulties in process control are bubbles, lack of material, and black spots. The design is mainly about the selection of materials, choosing epoxy and bracket with good separation. (Ordinary LEDs cannot pass the air tightness test).

 

       In-line LED lamp bead dispensing TOP-LED and Side-LED are suitable for dispensing packaging. The manual dispensing package requires a high degree of operation (especially white LED). The main difficulty is the control of the dispensing volume, because the epoxy will thicken during use. The dispensing of white light LEDs also has the problem of phosphor precipitation causing color difference in light emission.

       LED potting encapsulation Lamp-LED encapsulation adopts potting method. The potting process is to first inject liquid epoxy into the LED molding cavity, then insert the pressure-welded LED bracket, put it into the oven to cure the epoxy, and then take the LED out of the cavity to form.

 

      In-line LED lamp bead molding package Put the pressure-welded LED bracket into the mold, clamp the upper and lower molds with a hydraulic press and vacuum, put the solid epoxy into the entrance of the injection channel, and press it in with a hydraulic ejector rod. In the mold glue channel, the epoxy follows the glue channel into each LED molding groove and cures.
