Gymnasium lighting requirements
Modern large gymnasiums are often a multi-functional comprehensive venue. In addition meeting various sports competitions, they also have undertake different requirements for theatrical performances, comprehensive conferences and display lights.
In the past, traditional general lighting was used in a wonderful sports game, I am afraid that few people rush the lighting bring great advantages and disadvantages the game and viewing. For example, facrs such as glare, brightness, uniformity, etc. directly affect the performance of the players on the field. Therefore, various sports competitions have extremely high requirements for the lighting of the venue. So what are the requirements for the lighting of the stadium?
1. Light source selection
1) For stadiums with high lighting installation height, metal halide lamps or high-power LED lamps should be used as the light source.
2) Indoor gymnasiums with low ceilings and small areas should use LED lights and low-power metal halide lights.
3) Outdoor stadiums should use high-power and medium-power LED lights and metal halide lamps; indoor stadiums should use medium-power metal halide lamps and LED lights.
4) Emergency lighting should use LED lights or fluorescent lights that can be started instantly reliably ignite the light source. 5) The light source should have suitable color temperature, good color rendering, high luminous efficiency, long life and stable lighting and phoelectric characteristics.
2. Requirements for lamps and accessories
1) The safety performance of lamps and their accessories should meet the requirements of corresponding standards.
2) The protection level of the lamps against electric shock is in line with the use of metal shell grounded type I lamps or II lamps
3) Lamp efficiency: no less than 65% for high-intensity gas discharge lamps, no less than 60% for grid fluorescent lamps, and no less than 65% for fluorescent lamps with transparent protective covers.
4) The light distribution of the luminaire should be compatible with the installation height, location and lighting requirements of the luminaire. Outdoor stadiums should use narrow beam and medium beam lamps; indoor stadiums should use medium beam and wide beam lamps.
5) The lamps and lanterns should have anti-glare measures, and the lamps and their accessories should meet the requirements of the use environment. The lamps should be high in strength, corrosion resistant, and electrical accessories should meet the requirements of heat resistance.
6) Lamps and lanterns installed high in the sky should choose products with light weight, small size and small wind load coefficient.
