  Facry steel structure lighting cable installation

  In the lighting of steel structure workshops, there are different installation methods for lights with different light sources and powers. At present, the most used installation method is suspended installation.

  We now take the LED fin industrial and mining lamp produced by lighting as an example. It is widely used in the lighting of manufacturing facries, electric power, railways, metallurgy, petrochemical, facries and mines, workshops, logistics warehouses, cultural and sports venues and other tall places.   The centralized laying of various system pipelines in traditional electromechanical design in tube wells, pipe corridors, and ceilings has been replaced by intricate laying of multi-level pipelines in large spaces. Because the columns and beams of the steel structure workshop are generally forbidden  be welded, the traditional form of combined support and hanger will cause the support  be o large due  o few rooting points, which is detrimental  the project cost and the load of the steel structure.

  The characteristics of using steel cables and section steel for wiring and chandelier are: A. Use section steel + steel cable instead of traditional channel steel and angle steel  make lamp supports and hangers, which solves the problem of difficulty in making supports and hangers in large-space workshops; B. Passes The use of steel cable hangers solves the difficult construction problem of the support and hanger fixed points of the large-space steel structure facry building; C. Through the use of steel cable hangers, the problem of increased load on steel structures caused by the large use of grape-type brackets is solved .

  1. Construction operation

  4. Method of installation and construction of plant lamps: use 25m2 steel stranded wire at both ends  add turnbuckle screws, calculate the height by yourself according  the regulations of the drawing, and lay the wire through JDG pipe, equipped with chandelier, industrial and mining lamp IP54 hanging pipe, led fin Pieces of high bay lights.

  1) Galvanized steel cables should be used instead of steel cables with oil cores. The wire diameter of the steel cable should be less than 25mm, and the steel cable should not have defects such as twisting and broken strands.

  2) The terminal pull ring of the steel cable should be firm and reliable. The connection between the steel cable and the terminal pull ring should adopt a heart-shaped ring. There should be no less than 2 wire clamps  fix the steel cable. The end of the steel cable should be tightly tied with galvanized iron wire.

  3) When the length of the wire rope is 50m or less, a turnbuckle bolt should be installed at one end of the wire rope (see Figure 1); when the length of the wire rope is greater than 50m, a turnbuckle bolt should be installed at both ends of the wire rope for fastening.

  4) Use steel strands as steel cables, and the minimum cross-section should not be less than 16mm2. Use galvanized round steel as the cable, the diameter should not be less than 10mm.

  5) The cable wiring accessories pull ring, flower basket bolt, steel cable clamp and rigging collar shall all be galvanized or painted with anti-corrosion paint.

  6) The pull ring used  fix the steel cable, the diameter is not less than Φ12mm.

  7) The spacing between the middle hangers of the steel cables should not be greater than 12m, the depth of the hooks at the connection between the hangers and the cables should not be less than 20mm, and there should be locking parts  prevent the cables from jumping out.

  8) After the wires and lamps are installed on the steel cable, the steel cable should bear the full load (see Figure 2), and the surface of the steel cable should be clean and free of rust.

  When laying wires and installing light boxes, the slack of the steel cable should not be greater than 100mm. If it cannot be reached, an intermediate hook should be added.

  3. Construction requirements

  1. See the table below for the maximum distance between the support points for hoisting metal pipes or plastic pipes on steel cables.

  2. The width of the flat steel clamps for hoisting junction boxes and pipelines should not be less than 20mm, and the number of hoisting junction box clamps should not be less than 2.

  3. When aluminum clips or nylon cable ties are applied directly on the steel cable, the distance between the supporting points should not be greater than 50mm; the distance between the clip and the junction box should not be greater than 200mm.

  4. Process the frame with reserved holes according  the required size of the design drawing; process the galvanized iron parts such as hoop, bracket, hanger, hook, earring, fixing clip and so on. Non-galvanized iron parts should be derusted first and then painted with anti-rust paint.

  5. When galvanized steel stranded wire or round steel is used as the wire rope, it should be cut according  the actual required length, wipe off the oil on the surface, and straighten it in advance  reduce its elongation.

  6. Fixing bracket: Fix the processed hoop bracket on the structure, and put the heart-shaped ring on the earrings and flower basket bolts for hoisting the steel cable. The fixed bracket can be used as the start, middle and end of the line.

  7. Assemble the cable:

  7.1 Thread one end of the pre-stretched steel cable in the earring, fold it back and insert it in the heart-shaped ring, and fix it two times with two steel cable clips. In order  prevent the end of the steel cable from loosening, it can be tied tightly with iron wire.

  7.2 Screw the screws at both ends of the flower basket bolts in the nuts  keep the maximum distance in order  continue  adjust the tightness of the cable.

  7.3 Remove the iron wire tied  the end of the steel cable, pass the steel cable through the fixed steel cable accessory flower basket bolt and earrings, fold it back and insert it in the heart-shaped ring, and use two steel cables  fasten the two.

  7.4 Pull up the steel cable and the flower basket bolt at the same time, and hook the earring at the other end, then tighten the steel cable with a big rope, starting from the middle, fix the steel cable on the hook, adjust the screw of the flower basket bolt  make the steel cable The tightness meets the requirements. When the length of the cable is less than 50m, it is allowed  install basket bolts at only one end; when the length exceeds 50m, both ends should be installed with basket bolts; for every 50m increase in length, an intermediate basket bolt should be installed.

  8. Install the protective ground wire: After the wire rope is in place, a protective ground wire must be installed at the first end of the wire rope and marked clearly, and a grounding wire should be made across the bolts of each flower basket.

  9. Steel rope hoisting metal pipe:

  9.1 According  the design requirements, select the metal pipe, tee and five-way special exposed junction box, and the corresponding specifications of the pipe clamp.

  9.2 When hoisting the pipeline, it should be carried out in the order of the main line first, then the branch line. The processed pipes should be connected in order from the beginning  the end. The threads connected  the junction box should be tightened firmly, and the threads entering the box should not exceed 2 buckle.
