LED (Light Emitting Diode) means light-emitting diode in Chinese. It is a solid-state semiconducr device that can convert electrical energy in light energy. The core of the LED is a semiconducr chip. One end of the chip is connected  the positive pole of the power supply and attached  a bracket. , The other end is the negative electrode, and then the chip is encapsulated with epoxy resin. The semiconducr wafer is composed of two parts: P-type semiconducr and N-type semiconducr. P-type semiconducrs are dominated by holes, and N-type semiconducrs are mainly electrons. When these two semiconducrs are connected, a P-N junction is formed. When the current is applied  the chip through the wire, the electrons will be pushed  the P area. In the P area, the electrons and holes recombine and emit energy in the form of light. This is the principle of LED light emission.

  ,

The color of the light emitted by the LED, also known as the wavelength, is determined by the material forming the P-N junction. LED can directly emit red, blue, yellow, purple, green, cyan, orange and other colors. The light intensity changes of these different colors can be described by data, and the wavelength range of visible light is 380-780nm.

  Red: 630-780nm Blue: 420-470nm Yellow: 570-600nm

  Purple: 380-420nm Green: 500-570nm Green: 470-500nm

  Purple: 380-420nm

LED light source has the advantages of low energy consumption, strong adaptability, high stability, zero pollution  the environment, short response time, low-voltage power supply, and support for multi-color light. Although the price is slightly higher than that of traditional lamps, it is It is considered  be a device that can replace existing lighting.
